There's a useful ParkThatBike website (listed as 'Request cycle racks' in the 'useful links' menu on the right) where you can place your wish list for cycle racks, and at 6-monthly intervals, a complete list is sent to the relevant local authorities.
Any extra requests will help the CCC, which of course also campaigns for bike racks around town and keeps the pressure up for developers to comply with their obligations to provide for cyclists (this includes cycle parking and cycle routes). Read more [...]

Additionally, at least one Congleton Cycling Campaign member tries to attend each Congleton Sustainability Group meeting in order to represent cycling in the town. These meetings are open to anyone who is interested.
