Brief summary of last night's meeting: Discussed Buglawton Beavers' request for help. Discussed how to assist Bromley Bike Project. Discussed the best places for directional cycle route signs in the town - plan to ride the route to make final decisions. (Minutes to be added to this site soon.) As Peter Hall plans to step down as chairman this year, we need nominations. All members eligible. We also need fresh faces and active help from our existing members and anyone thinking of joining. Ride on 3rd Sept and meeting on 6th Sept

Look forward to seeing you at: Our monthly relaxed ride to the Farmers Market at Rode Hall on Saturday 3rd September - meet at 09.30 at the corner of Moss Road and Leek Road. Back by lunchtime.  This is an informal ride and there's usually a campaign member there but if the weather is atrocious, perhaps not! Our evening meeting to discuss achievements and plans on Tuesday 6th September at 20.00 in the Beartown Tap, 18 Willow St, Congleton, CW12 1RL  (upstairs meeting room). Read more [...]

All welcome to our next regular meeting to hear about the latest achievements of the Campaign, plus suggestions and plans. If you have any input for the meeting, but cannot attend, please contact us. Items on the agenda include: Organising a ride around town to agree the optimum position for the directional cycle route signs we now have funding for from Cheshire East/Congleton Town Council/Sustrans. Cheshire sustainability meeting

All welcome to the Cheshire & Warrington Sustainability Alliance Annual Meeting: Thursday 31st March 2011 in Frodsham - theme for 2011 is Energy & Water. Additionally,  at least one Congleton Cycling Campaign member tries to attend each Congleton Sustainability Group meeting in order to represent cycling in the town.   These meetings are open to anyone who is interested.
