Exciting times!
Lots going on behind the scenes in Congleton with discussions with town councillor and deputy mayor Suzie Ackers-Smith and CE cllr David Brown over tweaks to make cycling around town easier, and longer-term more major work to make the cycle route network less disjointed, and add a new circumnavigation of the town.

The campaign is busy working with town councillor Suzie Ackers-Smith, who was instrumental in bringing the Tour of Britain to Congleton.
The result is the Tour of Britain Legacy Committee who are working on ideas to ensure this event has a lasting effect on the area by improving its health and wealth. A group working to improve cycling conditions in the area for workers, shoppers & school children. Promote and encourage cycling in all its forms, work with other cycle groups/clubs & the transport charity Sustrans.
