2019 Macclesfield Bikeathon 11 May 2019
Do you feel like you need a challenge or a fun day out? Why not take part in the Macclesfield Bikeathon on May 11th? There are three rides of 6 miles, 30 miles or 60 miles. Start and finish at Macclesfield Leisure Centre from 08.00. Behind the Scenes Update 2017
Exciting times!
Lots going on behind the scenes in Congleton with discussions with town councillor and deputy mayor Suzie Ackers-Smith and CE cllr David Brown over tweaks to make cycling around town easier, and longer-term more major work to make the cycle route network less disjointed, and add a new circumnavigation of the town.

Seeking Funding
The campaign is busy working with town councillor Suzie Ackers-Smith, who was instrumental in bringing the Tour of Britain to Congleton.
The result is the Tour of Britain Legacy Committee who are working on ideas to ensure this event has a lasting effect on the area by improving its health and wealth.
